GOVT ITI MAYYANAD

History

Govt. ITI Mayyanad was inaugurated by Honorable Minister for Labor & Skills of Kerala, Sri T.P Ramakrishnan, on 19 Dec 2019 at 3.00 pm. ITI is located near Govt. Model LPS, Sasthamkovil, Mayyanad in Mayyanad Panchayath in Kollam District of Kerala. ITI is started with 4 SCVT trades -Electrician(EL), Mechanic Motor Vehicle(MMV), Computer Operator & Programming assistant(CO&PA) & Mechanic Diesel(MD) with 6 units (EL-1unit, MMV-1unit, CO&PA-2units & MD-2units). 140 Trainees got admission during 2019 session. The first Principal Of the ITI is Sri. Amstrong A. In 2020, All 4 trades got NCVT affiliation from DGET Govt. of India. Inauguaration
